Cristiano Bellucci has spent the past 20 years working in the tech industry, with stints at Lycos, Sony, and currently at Fujitsu. Despite his achievements at these companies, he admits that there are two career regrets that still haunt him.

Firstly, he regrets not diving into entrepreneurship earlier. He believes that if he had seized the opportunity sooner, he might have enjoyed more autonomy and a greater sense of achievement. “I’ve seen many colleagues and friends realize their dreams through starting their own businesses, while I continued to follow the routine at large corporations,” he says. This regret is not just about missed opportunities but also a reflection on his courage and determination.

Secondly, he regrets not learning and mastering new technologies more aggressively during the early stages of his career. He points out that in the tech industry, technology evolves rapidly. If he had kept up with the trends and learned the latest technologies earlier, he might have been more competitive in the job market. “I always felt a step behind. If I had invested more time in learning earlier, I would probably be more confident now,” he adds.
